Reopening of Kashiwa Guest House(as from July 1, 2022)

The Kashiwa Guest House had been closed since April 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19 but has reopened on Friday, July 1, 2022.
The “Kashiwa Guest House Application System (referred to as “the system”)” for accommodation reservations has launched. The system via Guest House page will enable visitors to make reservations online.
To prevent the transmission of COVID-19, please follow these guidelines when visiting the campus.
- Confirmation of physical condition for the past two weeks and immediately before the visit
- Wearing a mask
- Alcohol disinfection before entering the room (a hand sanitizer is available at the entrance of the Kashiwa Guest House)
- If you have not yet submitted a health check document to the host laboratory, check your health condition on the “Health Check Sheet (Self-Confirmation)” before staying at the guest house.
Temporary Closure of Kashiwa Guesthouse
April 6, 2020.
In response to the spreading COVID-19 outbreak, the University of Tokyo has raised its activity restriction level* to the “Level 2.” In accordance with this heightened university-wide alert level, the Kashiwa Campus is imposing new restrictions on its activities, which include the temporary closure of the Kashiwa Guest House from Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
