We aim to create a new value-generation process centered on advanced measurement and materials technologies by integrating advanced academic knowledge with the perspectives of corporate management and product development. For complex challenges that cannot be resolved through conventional technical approaches alone, we identify underlying causes through root-cause analysis that integrates insights from both industrial practice and academia, and establish a framework for more effectively leveraging advanced technologies in industry.

In response to industrial product-development needs, we map analytical infrastructure across the university, including synchrotron-radiation facilities, and promote the establishment and effective use of frameworks for collaboration. Furthermore, the laboratory plans and organizes recurring seminars and educational programs grounded in complex industrial challenges and the advancement of core technologies in industry, with the goal of fostering industry-ready talent equipped with both scientific expertise and industry perspective. Through these activities, we seek to establish a new research platform that contributes to industrial advancement.
