The High-Pressure Measurement Section aims at search for novel phenomena under pressure and characterization of high-pressure low-temperature physical properties. This Section offers high-pressure devices featuring good hydrostaticity for joint research and internal use.

Main Facility

250ton-class constant-load cubic-anvil-type high-pressure devices

The cubic-anvil-type high-pressure apparatus equipped with constant loading force press, realizing highly hydrostatic pressure environment by three-axis compression and liquid pressure transmitting medium.
