[Extended Suspension]For Containing the New Coronavirus’ Spread, ISSP Temporarily Suspends the Joint Use of its Facilities by Non-Kashiwa Campus Users

In line with the University of Tokyo’s efforts to contain the spread of the new coronavirus, ISSP has decided to suspend in principle its Joint Use program which involves a visit to ISSP by non-Kashiwa Campus users for the time being, from Monday, April 6 to TBA to Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

The resumption date Whether or not the suspension will be extended after then will be determined in due course in light of the new coronavirus-related situation then. To confirm how this suspension will affect your joint research project, please contact your host at ISSP.

Please note, however, that the use of the synchrotron radiation facility SPring-8 and the Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility, J-PARC will be subject to the judgement by the respective relevant facility. As to the joint research at the Center for Advanced High Magnetic Field Science, Osaka University, please refer to the website of the Center.

The suspension period has been extended: The end of the suspension period has been changed from Wednesday, May 6 to “TBA(to be announced).”
