Status of Instruments
The neutron scattering instruments available at the JAERI reactors have been
developed both by Universities and by JAERI
to cover a wide range of scientific areas such
as condensed matter physics,chemistry,biology,polymer,and material science.
The currently active instruments in JRR-2 and JRR-3M are listed below.
A schematic floor layout of JRR-3M is shown in a foldout page and details on these
instruments owned by Universities (ISSP,TOHOKU and KUR)are given in the subsections which
follow.
