Kashiwa is about 30 km north-east from Tokyo. A direct bus service from Tokyo International Airport (Narita) and the downtown of Kashiwa is the most recommended to use. The detailed travel information to Kashiwa campus is here.

Visa

Participants who need a visa to enter Japan are requested to contact the Secretariat of the Symposium in advance so that the appropriate documentation for the visa application, such as an Invitation Letter, can be prepared. Usually it takes one week to receive a visa; however, there were some cases that it took several months, so please consult the Secretariat of the Symposium as soon as you register yourself with a full payment of registration fees. Please note that the Invitation Letter is for visa purposes only.
