This is the seventh of annual ISSP International Workshop/Symposium. In the three-day Symposium latest results are presented, while two pedagogical lectures are given in the Workshop period during the three weeks.
Given the rapid progress of condensed matter theory, both in the analysis of effective models and in the study based on the ab initio Hamiltonians, bringing between these two approaches is important more than ever. This meeting offers an opportunity for such a connection among leading theorists with diverse backgrounds, to stimulate new developments.
