Synchrotron


The synchrotron is used as an injector of the main storage ring. 200 MeV electron beam which is produced by linac is injected to the synchrotron and accelerated up to 1.8 GeV. This synchrotron dose not only accelerates the electron beam but also reduces the emittance to keep the 100 % transmission, especially for a top-up injection. The repetition ratio of injection is 0.5-1 Hz.
