This is the standard sample environment for AGNES. The sample stick can be selected for gas-atmosphere or high-pressure experiments.
Overall range: 2.5-800 K
Low-temperature mode: 2.5-370 K
High-temperature mode: 10-800 K

For gas-pressure experiments below 200 MPa; liquid-pressure systems are available below 500 MPa.

These lines are connected to the sample stick for high pressure.

1K Cryostat

This cryostat extends the overall AGNES temperature range down to 0.7 K. It replaces the standard top-loading cryo-furnace during use; please contact the administrator in advance.
