In some triangular antiferromagnets, no magnetic long range order is observed, but specific heat and magnetic susceptibility indicate the presence of gapless excitations. To explain these properties, we have proposed a scenario of spin nematic order and compared the results particularly with NiGa2S4, a spin-1 system. I will report the effects of quantum fluctuations in the nematic ordered state on observable magnetic properties, and also other characteristic correlations. |
