In order to support research activities, there are various supporting facilities in ISSP. Among them are Cryogenics Service Laboratory for supplying liquid helium and liquid nitrogen, Model Shop for various machining, Radiation Safety Laboratory for the safety of experiments using x-ray, γ-ray, and radio active materials, Library, Stock Room for supplying common expendables, and International Liaison Office for supporting foreign researchers. Chairpersons of each corresponding committee are in charge of these facilities and several staff members are working in each facility.
