Necessary Procedures after entering Japan

Alien Registration

You will need to register at the Kashiwa City Office for Foreign Registeration.The Registration card will be your primary source of ID during stay.

The Ailen Registration will be needed on opening a bank account, re-entry permit, applying for health insurance, child allowance, etc.

Bank Account

Any payments (salary, reimbursements, rents) to and from the university would be made via bank transfer. After you have done the foreign registration, you will be able to open an account. The CITIBANK can help you open account in english. Please call the Liaison Office for more information.
