Summary : Unconventional semiconductor FeSb2 is shown to be a good model material to study new aspects of Kondo Insulator physics in transition metal compounds with 3d ions I will present study of structural, thermodynamic magnetic and electrical transport properties starting from the early anisotropy study in high quality crystals, and ending with a recent discovery of colossal magnetoresistance in Fe1-xCoxSb2. This will be followed by brief overview of some recent advances in our understanding of CeCoIn5 and other projects at BNL.
